Google docs is one of the most popular and best free online word processor available for people who hold a Gmail, Google Plus or YouTube account. It a great online resource for people who do not have Microsoft word available on their computers. It’s also a great tool for collaboration on special projects, documents, files as you can share documents and allow others to edit documents.
Pros

- Your documents will be automatically saved on your Google account
- You can easily share documents with others and give access for others to edit documents
- It has a chat application which makes it easier to collaborate
- Easy to navigate, simple and organized
Cons
- Only works and can be used with internet access
- Limited advance formatting and style option as a usual word processor
- Copying and pasting items from a different word processor sometimes changes the format of the document.
- You must be logged onto you Google account to use it.
Overall, I really enjoy using Google Docs since it is a very easy way to collaborate with my colleagues and classmates on files that are needed to be worked on together. This allows collaboration on a document to be done online without having to meet in person. I also really love that documents are saved automatically. With some word processors if you experience any kind of shut down of your computer your work on the document will be lost if you did not save it before the shutdown. Google Docs is also a great tool for students to collaborate and work on projects and papers with others. Finally, I would definitely recommend Google Docs as an online resource to others since it can be very useful tool.

Wix.com is a free cloud-based website builder with millions of users worldwide. The site is very user friendly where everyone can create a beautiful and professional website. This website builder allows users to promote their business, showcase their art, set up an online shop or test out new ideas. WIX has everything a person needs to create a fully personalized and high-quality free website.
Pros
- Short-term pricing, WIX offers a free plan if you don’t mind having your site URL as http://yourwebsite.wix.com/yourwebsite
- Website is easy to navigate and configure especially with the websites drag and drop feature
- WIX has a wide selection of modern designs and themes
- WIX websites are hosted by WIX servers. With WIX you don’t have to worry about caching and patches. The website has great speed and security
- WIX professionals are very good with customer support and knowledgebase of website. Issues with the website can be fixed almost immediately.
Cons
- Hard to change templates, once you have selected a template you can’t switch to a different template without reinserting all your content again
- Advertisement visible on the free website, if you wish to remove advertisement you would need to upgrade to their combo premium package which isn’t free
- Technical Limitations and Advanced Marketing Tools, if a user wants to include something that the WIX website doesn’t have adding these additional codes to the site is difficulty
- Users cannot export their data elsewhere; a user will have to manually copy and paste their data to the new site.
Overall, WIX is a great website builder tool for students and users looking for different ways to present data and information other than the typical PowerPoint Presentation. WIX also allows students to collaborate with others without actually being together in the same room. The easy navigation and configurations of the website make it easy for almost all users to create their own website.
