            Reading Eggs Junior is a wonderful literacy resource for toddlers learning how to read. Reading Eggs Junior allows children to be immersed in a magnificent world of reading from its library of read-aloud books, captivating videos, fun learning activities, and progress reports. Through Reading Eggs Junior’s numerous reading activities, a child’s knowledge of stories, words, letters and sounds will grow. This online resource nurtures an early love of reading through play, discovery and laughter.

            As mentioned, Reading Eggs Junior provides hundreds of read-aloud books carefully chosen for toddlers. Through the carousel library, it is filled with age-appropriate stories, nursery rhymes, alphabet and concept books, as well as a huge range of nonfiction books. After much practice, there will be an incredible long-term academic improvement in a child’s reading performance. Along with the hundreds of read-aloud books, toddlers will also be able to watch countless videos that feature beautifully animated and real-life stories. Through the videos, it is designed for children to build important skills like phonemic awareness, sequencing and alphabet knowledge.

            In addition, Reading Eggs Junior is one of the few programs Reading Eggs has created to teach children through various learning facets. The program, Reading Eggs, has different programs such as Reading Eggspress and Mathseeds. Reading Eggs’ educational applications can be downloaded on an iPad, iPhone, or Android device. Reading Egg’s applications are designed by experts to promote real learning on the go. Reading Eggs Junior also provides free printable activities for toddlers and preschoolers. It will help them learn their numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and other basic skills.

            In summary, Reading Eggs Junior is a phenomenal educational resource for toddlers learning how to read. I chose this effective literacy website because I have a one-year-old niece, who I would love to teach the reading basics to. I really enjoyed my exploration of Reading Eggs Junior because I can see the many types of educational benefits it has for children. I highly recommend using Reading Eggs Junior as one of the main programs to teach your children or students how to read.
