StoryJumper

StoryJumper (https://www.storyjumper.com/) is a website that gives teachers, students, parents, and authors magnificent tools for creating, writing, and illustrating stories. StoryJumper’s goal is to inspire anyone that has ever wanted to write an illustrated book. Students of any age have the opportunity to bring their imagination and dreams to life by writing a book, whether it is imaginative, informational, or narrative. StoryJumper is a tool that makes writing fun for students because of the eye catching props, scenes, photos, and fonts the website provides.
StoryJumper also offers “How To” guides for authors and teachers. For teachers, StoryJumper is designed to give teachers an interface to manage and review students’ work, and provide strong privacy controls over student information. The teacher’s guide also shares a step-by-step process on how to use StoryJumper in the classroom. Teachers are able to sign up for a free teacher account, plan a lesson using a variety of subjects (English, social studies, foreign languages, science, and math), edit their online class, have students create their books at school or home, review student books, share student books, and print student books. Through this teacher’s guide, teachers will learn how to use StoryJumper for their students.
Furthermore, StoryJumper’s book editor is free to use, and gives everyone access to the basic art libraries for story creation and online sharing. When writing and creating a StoryJumper book, it must be done on a computer. However, when StoryJumper books are saved, it can be viewed on any type of device (computer, cellphone, or tablet). Storywriters also have the chance to use their own photos, graphic art, and drawings as their illustrations.
In conclusion, StoryJumper is an excellent motivational tool for students of all ages. By having your students create their own stories, they begin to comprehend story concepts such as sequencing, plot planning, and other story elements. By having children personalize and create their own story, they remain engaged, motivated, and ready to learn.
