Dropbox is a convenient storage cloud that can do more than just host files. The application can be used on the web at https://www.dropbox.com, downloaded as an app in a tablet or mobile device, or downloaded onto one’s desktop for easy access. On a free account, it can hold up 2GB. Willing users can also earn up to 16GB of bonus storage by successfully referring Dropbox to others, who must download the application onto their desktop.
One of the notable features of Dropbox, is it syncing capabilities. Even when editing files offline, Dropbox will automatically update files as soon as internet connection is reached. Additionally, it creates an efficient workspace for collaborative work as single files to multiple folders can be shared between users. Dropbox will kindly notify users when others have made changes to shared files.
